Epson Scan and Event Manager fail to open after installing Windows 10 Creators Update

During the installation of Windows 10 Creators Update, some files are removed that effect Epson Scan and Event Manager. This means that Epson Scan and Event Manager may fail to open.

To resolve this please install the latest versions of Epson Scan and Event Manager for you product from the Epson website.
