It uses Epson's top-of-the-range six-colour Claria Photo HD Ink, a dye-based ink set that creates superior-quality, long-lasting photos dominated by detail, high contrast and smooth natural skin tones, and is ideal for keen photographers.Claria Photo HD Ink delivers smooth tonal gradations, deep natural blacks and rich, vibrant colours. This six-colour ink set features the standard CMYK inks, as well as Light Cyan and Light Magenta inks, to create an extensive colour gamut. With individual ink cartridges you only have to replace the colour used, saving you money. Claria Photo HD Ink cartridges are available in standard and XL sizes, with page yields displayed clearly on each pack to aid your purchasing decision. Stay Connected – send your creations to print immediately
A multifunction device with its own email address to print from a smartphone or tablet, the XP-950 can print even from the cloud. The XP-950 has its own email address, so you can take a photo anywhere in the world and email it back home – or to another Epson printer owned by family, friends or a colleague. It works the other way, too; add someone's email address to your list of Approved Senders and they can print photos or documents straight to your XP-950. And, when you're away from home using a computer that's connected to the internet, the Remote Print Driver makes it easy to print straight to the XP-950, so your photos and documents are waiting for you. And there are even more ways to share photos using Epson Connect, as it's compatible with Google Cloud Print. By linking the XP-950 to accounts on popular cloud storage websites like Dropbox, Google Drive, Box or Evernote, you can scan photos and documents directly to them. Used with desktop or laptop computers, smartphones, tablets or over WiFi, a compact printer has never been so flexible.
Ditch the desktop
The XP-950 isn't just for desktop computer owners – download the free Epson iPrint1 app to a smartphone or tablet and scan to it or you can print web pages, photos and documents stored either on that device or in the cloud. You are in total control – as long as you have a WiFi connection. It puts the fun back into photography; if you're in your garden and take a great photo of family or friends with your smartphone, why not print it out immediately to share? It's clever yet simple, allowing you to crop or delete images, choose the layout, the print quality and the number of copies you want.
Media flexibility
The XP-950 features two front-loading paper trays so you can switch between common photo media such as 10x15cm, or A4 sized paper, while the rear speciality media feed can hold paper or card of up to A3 in size for truly versatile printing. It prints on suitable CDs and DVDs to personalise films and create smart digital photo albums, and it can also print direct from a camera's memory card. It's also compatible with PictBridge, so you can print directly from a wide range of devices.
Easy-to-use
The 8.8cm touch-screen features a user-friendly interactive menu, for straight-forward, easy-to-operate PC-free photo printing. You can scroll through the with a simple swipe of your finger, similar to smartphone screen technology. This printer also features a motorised control panel, which automatically opens and moves into position to give easier access to the controls. At the same time, it extends the output tray that collects printouts neatly without manual operation.
Who needs cables?
No one wants to spend time with cables and manuals setting-up a printer, which is why the user-friendly XP-950 comes with Auto WiFi3 setup, which configures the settings for you quickly and securely, without having to key in any passwords. With WiFi DirectTM also included, it's easy to print photos or documents stored on smartphones or tablets even without the XP-950 on a home WiFi network. Able to make a direct link to your mobile device in seconds, the XP-950 can print off photos taken just moments ago, without the need for cables or cards.

Save paper and reduce your carbon footprint. Able to print on both sides of the paper – or duplex – the XP-950 instantly cuts your paper usage in half.
